Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber
Born in 1973, franco-swiss.
Born in Kyoto, Malika Kishino started composition after she obtained Bachelor of Laws at Doshisha Uuniversity in 1994.

First trained as a flutist, Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber has studied composition
with Sergio Ortega, Allain Gaussin, Ivan Fedele, Philippe Leroux and Frédéric
Durieux.
She graduated in composition from the CNSMDP in 2006 (National Superior
Conservatory of Paris) and attended the one year composition and new technology
cursus at the IRCAM in 2004-2005.
Her music is played in France and abroad, by ensembles like Aleph, Accroche
Note, Contrechamps, Cairn Hic et Nunc, l'Instant Donné, Multilatérale, Nouvel
ensemble Moderne, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony orchestra, Vortex, Court-Circuit,
Insomnio, Orchestre de chambre de Genève....
at IRCAM, Musica, Manca, Abbaye de Royaumont, Forum Neues Musiktheater,
MaerzMusik, Ars Musica, Archipel, Why Note, Suntory Summer Festival, Gaudeamus
music week...
She was awarded the Francis and Mica Salabert Prize in 2006,
and the Georges Enesco composition Prize from SACEM in 2007.
She was composer-in-residence at Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto in 2008, and at Villa
Medici in Roma (2010-2011).
Her music is edited by Jobert, Paris.

She obtained Diplôma Supérieur in the class of Yoshihisa Taira at l´Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, Diplôme National d´Etudes Supérieures Musicales for composition in the class of Robert Pascal at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse. She participated the "Composition and Computer Music" program at IRCAM in 2004-05 under the direction of Philippe Leroux.
She has received the grants from some electroacoustic studios in europe include: SWR Experimentalstudio in Freiburg, Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie Institute für Musik und Akustik (ZKM),Groupe de Recherches Musicales in Paris (l´Ina GRM) .
Her Awards include: First Prize in the 6th concours of Groupe de Recherche Appliquée en Musique Electroacoustique and Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain, fellowship to Academy Schloss Solitude (Germany), Landesregierung Nordrhein-Westfalen, Niedersachsen Schreyahn artist´residency, Djearssi artists residency etc..
Her works have been performed by l´Orchestre National de Lyon, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, Oslo Symphoniette, Musik Fabrik at international festivals including Présences Festival of Radio France , Musica in Strasbourg, Ultima Festival in Oslo, Alicante , Festival, Ultraschall Festival in Berlin etc..
Between 2012-13, two portrairt CDs are planed to be published from Telos-Music Record label and co-production of German Music Council and Wergo label.
Her works are published by Edizioni Suvini Zerboni in Milano.
