Noriko Baba
Born in Niigata (Japan), Noriko Baba obtained a Masters in composition at the University of Fine Arts in Tokyo, and a prize honors at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris in composition. She participates in the annuel composition course at IRCAM and la formation Voix nouvelles of Foundation Royaumont. She was composer-in-residence at Academy Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, and at Academy of France in Madrid (Casa de Velazquez). She was awarded the second prize in composition NHK-Mainichi, and the Prize Georges Wildenstein. Her works are performed at Agora, Die Reich, Archipel, ISCM, Musica, Paris de la musique, by ensembles 2e2m, Intercontemporain, cross.art, Ascolta, Instant donné, Cairn, Neopercusión, Trio arbós, Pasdeloup, etc.
“Pororoca” for the Ensemble Intercontemporain was filmed by Michel Follin, broadcasted on ARTE. She is the winner of the Villa Kujoyama ( Artist-in-residence of the French government ) and will stay from January 2012.

Francesco Filidei
He has been graduated at the Conservatory of Florence and the CNSMDP of Paris with the first prize. Both as a composer and organist he has been invited in festival and halls like the Berlin Philarmony, the Wiener Theaterhaus, the Biennale of Venice, the Biennale of Monaco, the Ircam of Paris, the Suntory Hall of Tokyo, the Auditorim National di Madrid, Archipel of Geneva, the Auditorium RAI of Turin amongst others. Several monographic concerts of his music have been presented in Japan, Italy, France, Germany and America. He has taught at the Abbey of Royaumont, at the Iowa University, the Academy of Takefu, the University of Santander and he has been composer in residence at the Academy Schloss Solitude di Stuttgart and the Casa de Velazquez of Madrid for two years. He has received awards like the Musikpreis Sazburg Förderpreis 2006, the Takefu International Prix 2007, the Siemens Förderpreis 2008, the Picasso-Miro’ medal 2011 UNESCO and he will be Pensionnaire in Villa Medici for 2012. His works are published by RAITRADE.
