I am going to LA in February.
The exhibition of a Noh mask artist, Bidou Yamaguchi “Traditions Transfigured: The Noh Masks of Bidou Yamaguchi” is going on from 2014/1/25 to 3/13 at the University Art Museum (UAM) at CSULB.
In related with this exhibition, the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden at CSULB will host “Noh×Contemporary Music” at the Daniel Recital Hall on 23 February. I will collaborate with John Barcellona, CSULB’s Cole Conservatory director of woodwind studies and professor of flute to perform three pieces.
While my visiting campus, I will also give a Noh workshop for CSULB students under head of performance Hugh O’Gorman.
