2021/22 season of La Monnaie! From 16 to 19 March 2022, I will perform “ZELLE, Wenn es dunkel wird” by Jamie Man & Peter Stamm at la Monnaie in Brussels! In this chamber opera, inspired by the monochromatic photographs of Masao Yamamoto, the dark surrealism of David Lynch and the ancient ritualism of Nōh theatre, British- Chinese composer Jamie Man and Swiss author Peter Stamm explore the boundaries between the visible, the audible, and the comprehensible.
