2024.6.9 NHK FM “Contemporary Music” Peter Eötvös
On June 9, musicologist Miyuki Shiraishi led a memorial feature on NHK FM “Contemporary Music” program on composer Peter Eötvös, who passed away in March of this year. Peter composed for me and I have had the pleasure of performing with him at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall and many other places under his direction. Eötvös: Harakiri / Ryoko Aoki (Noh voice), Takashi Yamane (bass clarinet multiple recordings), Satoshi Takeshima (percussion)” was broadcasted in its entirety in the program. There are also commentaries on Eötvös and the music, making this a good program to remember the deceased. Please listen to it.
