2024.3.2 Concert at Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris
I was on a European tour from late February to early March. The first stop was Paris.
On 2 March I performed a duo concert with Éric-Maria Couturier, cellist of the Ensemble Intercontemporain, at the Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris. With Éric-Maria, I released the CD “Yoru no Kotoba Works for Noh voice and Violoncello” (ALCD-131) in 2021. At that time, we recorded in real-time remote sessions in Tokyo and Paris during the pandemic, so this was our first real concert together.
Playing with him was a thrilling experience and very inspiring.
